I Wonder about Blond v. Blonde

I always confuse 'blond' and 'blonde'. I don't know why. Most people don't even distinguish between the two (using the same to refer to both men and women), but I prefer to use the correct one (assuming I can remember which is which!).

Blond - feminine.
Blonde - masculine.
