All Star Team Announced!

The All Star lineup was announced!

Joe Mauer (catcher) was voted in by the fans. Justin Morneau (first) and Joe Nathan (closer) were selected.

The Twins are a smaller market, and especially with Mauer never having played for another team, I think it's really cool that he got that many fan votes. There was an interview with him during today's Twins game, and he seemed really excite. He loves baseball, and that's the way I think it should be. Supercute.

I'm also excited about Morneau - he was in second in fan voting, last I heard. And Nathan had a great 9th inning in today's game :) Yea Twins!
